Born on the Baumgardt homestead on the Briscoe Road near Jeffesonville on April 2 1864 daughter of Louis Baumgardt and Magdalena Huff. Mr Matzinger died October 12 1928 in Liberty. Surviving are 2 sons - Louis and Charles of Liberty and 1 daughter Mrs M R (Luella) Glassford of Kingston, MI. Also leaves 6 brothers and 2 sisters - Jacob Baumgardt of Liberty, Henry, Charles and Philip Baumgardt of New Haven, CT., George of Jeffersonville, John of Binghamton, Mrs Margaret Segar of White Sulphur Springs, Mrs Thomas C brown of Kenoza Lake. Buried in Liberty Cemetery. The six brothers were pallbearers."
