Ronald H. Matzinger

Ronald H. Matzinger, 60, of Ivester, Iowa, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2012, at his home.
Ronald was born on December 13, 1952, in Dixon, Illinois, the son of Walter Henry Matzinger and Muriel Ann McMahon. He attended St. Mary's Grade School and graduated from Dixon High School in 1971. Ronald worked on the road as a truck driver for different companies in between seasons. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. Ronald was an avid motor sports enthusiast; he enjoyed watching NASCAR, NHRA. Also, an outdoorsman he enjoyed hunting, hiking, and working with his hands as a mechanic.
Ronald is survived by his two sons, James H. and Daniel C. Matzinger; his long time love Jacqueline D, two sisters, Carol Oksas and Sybil Matzinger, he is also survived by two nephews and three nieces.
Ronald was preceded in death by his; Mother and Father.
An Irish Celebration of Ronald's life will be held on January 5, 2013, at the Union Supper Club in Union, Iowa at 6:30 PM where his family will be present to greet friends and share memories. Memorial contributions may be directed to Ronald's family in honor of his name.
